"Filing Your Cyber Certification: A "How To" Guide

Every year NYS DFS requires you and your team to file an annual “Certification of Compliance.” An incorrect, obtuse or late filing are viewed negatively by the Department of Financial Services and, more often than not trigger an audit. On this webinar, cybersecurity and compliance expert Al Alper, CEO of Absolute Logic will walk through, step by step what the Certification means and what you should do (and have been doing) to prepare to file. This will be an interactive webinar and, time permitting, Al will walk a volunteer member through their certification filing, LIVE.

Part 2 of this Series will take place on Thursday, March 11, 2021 | 11AM

The cybersecurity section of the First Day Letter is not only the 2nd largest part of the Departments audit, it is now a focal point for auditors and supervisors. During this webinar, cybersecurity and compliance expert Al Alper, CEO of Absolute Logic will go over the myriad cybersecurity topics covered in the First Day Letter, how they align with regulation 23 NYCRR 500, and what you should be doing to properly respond so that the Department has confidence in your security posture.
