TITLE: Proposed changes to DFS’ Cybersecurity Regulation, what it means and what you can do about it
DESCRIPTION: On November 9th, the NYS Department of Financial Services opened the public comment phase of the proposed changes to their first-in-the-nation cybersecurity regulation, 23 NYCRR 500. The over 100 changes that are being proposed, some that help mortgage brokers and some that require more oversight, documentation and controls. In this webinar, Al Alper, CEO of Absolute Logic, cyber security and compliance expert, and a long-time supporter of NYAMB will go through those proposed changes that impact our industry the most, and provide guidance on what we can do to, potentially, change what will ultimately be adopted, and how to prepare NOW for what is mostly likely to survive the public comment phase and go into effect next year.
This is a MUST-ATTEND webinar. There are things we must do now before the changes are adopted.
