January 2010 - “New Vision for Success”

 With this first edition of the “New York Mortgage Press” in 2010, the New York Association of Mortgage Brokers (NYAMB) is rolling out its new mortgage industry e-publication and the official news journal of the Association.  NYAMB is the most relevant organization for mortgage originators and the only voice for the mortgage brokerage industry in New York State.

Happy New Year! We have begun another new year in the mortgage industry and we are still here! This year, if the recent past is any indicator, will be very interesting to say the least.
 
Late in December I received an Industry Letter from the NYS Banking Dept. stating Governor Paterson signed into law a lending reform bill addressing the New York State mortgage crisis. Click here for full article
